A total of 238 B6sb locomotives were constructed between 1916 and 1920, featuring retrofitted power reversers that enhanced operational efficiency for yard crews.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese locomotives, characterized by their remarkable tractive effort of over 36,000 lbs, were commonly utilized in freight and passenger yards and occasionally on branch line duties throughout their operational lifespan. During both World Wars, they were vital in maintaining the flow of goods and transport.
