1/16 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe 60th Anniversary (AMT1461)

This 1/16-scale model kit recreates the 1964½ Ford Mustang Coupe as a 60th Anniversary edition. It can be built as either a stock replica or a custom show car, offering a broad range of detailing from bumper to bumper to capture the look and feel of the era.

Under the hood sits a 271 hp 289 cubic-inch V-8 with a four-barrel carburetor, dual exhaust, and a four-speed transmission, with stock vinyl tires and optional whitewall overlays and wheel covers. For custom styling, the kit includes American Racing “200-S” wheels, vinyl Goodyear “Ralley GT” rear tires, a “Manta 4” steering wheel, quad taillights, and a roof stripe, plus openable doors and hood and vinyl hoses and wiring to add realism. There are Cobra engine options with a set of performance parts — air cleaner, dual Holley 4BBL carbs, intake manifold, valve covers, oil pan, and exhaust headers — and water-slide decals to finish the look, all packaged in Retro Deluxe illustrated packaging with a special 60th Anniversary sticker.
