1961 Chevrolet Corvair Lakewood body for Axial SCX24 5.2-inch wheelbase mini crawlers is a scale, pre-trimmed polycarbonate shell designed to transform a compact crawler into a vintage station wagon. Officially licensed by Chevrolet to JConcepts, this clear body captures iconic styling cues—from the wraparound windshield to recessed side windows—and arrives with protective film and a detailed decal sheet to help recreate an authentic 1961 Corvair Lakewood look right out of the paint booth.

Designed to fit the Axial SCX24 5.2" wheelbase, the Lakewood body has a center-section width of 3.3 inches (85 mm) and features slightly larger wheel wells to accommodate common mini crawler tires such as Tusk, Landmines, and Ruptures. The clear polycarbonate shell comes with overspray film, is pre-trimmed for easy installation, and includes window masks and a full decal sheet for chrome trim, headlights, taillights, and badges to deliver a finished, scale-focused look on the trail.
