AMT's 1/25 scale 1949 Ford Coupe "“ 49'er is an excellent customizing project for serious builders who desire something unique. This model is a classic ride for classic builders and is fully paintable. It comes with an expanded sheet of authentically detailed water-slide decals. Builders can create stock, custom, or drag versions using optional features, including two V-8 engine options, open wheels or reactor mags, pre-lettered skinny or wide drag slicks, stock tires with wide whites or pinstripes, optional tinted windows, a fully equipped interior, and a bonus show trophy. The model is presented in vintage-styled packaging. The assembled model measures 7.25 inches long and includes over 165 parts. The parts are molded in white, clear, and transparent red, with black vinyl tires and some chrome-plated components. Plastic model kit paint and cement are required, and a paint guide is included in the kit. This model is intended for builders aged 10 and older and has a skill level of 2.
