HO 50' ACF Outer Post Box Car (AN #5129) (ATH-1036)

An HO-scale 50-foot ACF outer-post box car, designed for realistic operation on HO model railroad layouts.

It rides on 70-ton roller bearing trucks and features a separately applied brake wheel, with body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for prototypical coupling. The 33-inch machined metal wheels use RP25 contours for precise tracking, and the model is weighted for optimum performance. The injection-molded body is highly detailed and finished with painted and printed decoration to resemble the prototype, while an 18-inch minimum radius ensures smooth operation on most HO layouts.
