HO-scale EMD GP60 Locomotive with Econami sound by SoundTraxx brings authentic diesel power to the layout. This sound-equipped, ready-to-run model operates on both DC and DCC systems, with full DCC functionality available when used in DCC mode, and reproduces engine, horn, and bell sounds for a lifelike operating experience.

Designed to resemble the prototype, the GP60 features a heavy die-cast frame for traction and smooth, quiet operation, a 5-pole motor with flywheels, and detailed decoration including see-through cab windows and finely applied grab irons. It is DCC-ready via a 21-pin NEM plug and ships fully assembled, ready to run, with LED headlights and ditch lights, McHenry knuckle couplers, and RP25 wheels for reliable tracking. The model supports MU lashups and NMRA-compatible DCC operation, with CV-tunable functions for added realism; minimum radius 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for best results.
