HO-scale GP60 Locomotive with Econami DCC and Sound in LLPX road-number 6001. This ready-to-run HO model recreates a modern GP60 used on intermodal trains, now equipped with onboard SoundTraxx Econami sound and full DCC functionality. It runs on both DC and DCC layouts, delivering authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds and offering full DCC control on digital layouts while remaining enjoyable on analog power.

Built with a heavy die-cast frame and a precise 5-pole motor for smooth, quiet operation, the locomotive features detailed touches such as see-through cab windows, factory Celcon handrails, and separately applied grab irons. It’s DCC-ready with a 21-pin NEM plug and includes LED headlights with ditch lights and beacons where the prototype required them. Nickel-plated, blackened machined wheels with RP25 contours ride on all-wheel electrical pickup for reliable power, and the model carries NMRA-compatible CVs for fine-tuning, MU lashups, and sound control. The finish mirrors LLPX styling for a faithful appearance, and with an 18-inch minimum radius (22 inches recommended) it’s ready to haul a realistic roster across a layout.
