HO EMD GP60 Locomotive Sound-Ready SSW #9659 (ATH-1195)

HO-scale EMD GP60 Locomotive with Sound-Ready features is designed to bring authentic diesel operation to HO rail layouts, delivering realistic performance with onboard Econami Sound by SoundTraxx. The sound-equipped model runs in both DC and DCC modes, with full DCC functionality when operated in DCC mode, and is DCC-ready via a 21-pin NEM plug. Lighting includes LED headlights, ditch lights, and beacons where applicable, with a painted, realistically decorated exterior for prototype accuracy.

Built for reliability and smooth operation, this GP60 rides on a heavy die-cast frame with all-wheel drive and a five-pole motor with flywheels and a multi-link drive. It features see-through cab windows, individually applied grab irons, and a highly detailed injection-molded body, plus nickel-plated, blackened machined wheels with RP25 contours and McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. It ships fully assembled and ready to run, with a minimum 18-inch radius and a recommended 22-inch radius to suit common HO layouts and modern intermodal service.
