HO EMD GP60 Locomotive Sound-Ready ATSF #4034 (ATH-1206)

HO-scale EMD GP60 Locomotive in Santa Fe livery, number 4034, is a sound-ready, ready-to-run model that brings authentic GP60 power to the layout. This prototype-inspired locomotive captures the look of the era’s high-speed intermodal service and is suitable for both DC and DCC operation, making it a versatile centerpiece for modern railroading.

Sound-equipped variants feature Onboard Econami Sound by SoundTraxx, with engine, horn, and bell sounds that respond to operation in either DC or DCC and full DCC functionality when used in DCC mode. The model rides on a heavy die-cast frame with precision gearing for smooth, quiet operation, driven by a 5-pole motor with flywheels and a multi-link drive train. It includes LED headlights, ditch lights, and beacons where applicable, a DCC-ready 21-pin NEM plug, factory Celcon handrails, individually applied grab irons, and nickel-plated, blackened machined wheels with RP25 contours. Painted and printed for realistic decoration with see-through cab windows, it is ready to run out of the box and offers a solid base for weathering or grime finishes to resemble an in-service locomotive. Minimum turning radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for optimal performance.
