HO-scale GP60 locomotive with Econami DCC and Sound delivers authentic modern freight power for any layout. This ready-to-run model includes onboard Econami Sound by SoundTraxx and supports both DC and DCC operation, with full DCC functionality available when used in DCC mode; engine, horn, and bell sounds work in DC for flexible operation on either type of layout.

Designed for realistic detail and reliable performance, it features factory-installed Celcon handrails, see-through cab windows, and individually applied grab irons. It has a DCC-ready 21-pin NEM plug, LED headlights, and lighting options (ditch lights and beacons where applicable). The model sits on a heavy die-cast frame for traction, powered by a 5-pole motor with precision flywheels and a multi-link drive, with all-wheel electrical pickup. It runs on nickel-plated, blackened machined wheels with RP25 contours and uses McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for a prototypical look. Fully assembled and painted, with a minimum 18" radius and a recommended 22" radius for smooth operation, the grime-ready finish provides a realistic starting point for weathering and personalization.
