Built for dependable model railroading, it features a heavy die-cast frame, a 5-pole motor with flywheels and precision gearing for smooth, quiet operation, and all-wheel drive with electrical pickup for reliable power. It includes LED headlights, ditch lights, and beacons where applicable, McHenry operating knuckle couplers, and RP25 wheels. The model is DCC-ready with a 21-pin NEM plug and supports full DCC functionality; in DC mode, engine, horn, and bell sounds still play. Onboard Econami sound provides authentic locomotive audio, with MU lashups and CV-tweakable settings, and a grime-ready finish option to replicate weathered service. Minimum radius is 18 inches (22 inches recommended) for smooth operation.
