HO-scale EMD SD40-2 Locomotive, Conrail #6372. This fully assembled, ready-to-run HO model captures the power and detail of the Dash 2 era, giving HO layout operators a reliable freight locomotive with authentic detailing.

Two versions are offered: a DCC-ready, non-sound model with a 21-pin NEM DCC plug, and a sound-equipped model with an onboard decoder and SoundTraxx Econami sound. It rides on a heavy die-cast frame with all-wheel drive for smooth, quiet operation and RP25 wheels for reliable track performance. Realistic detailing includes see-through cab windows, scale handrails, photo-etch windshield wipers, and LED lighting front and rear. The sound version delivers engine, horn, and bell sounds that work in DC and DCC; all functions are NMRA-compatible in DCC, with a CV chart included for tuning. Minimum radius is 18 inches (22 inches recommended), and packaging securely holds the model for storage.
