HO EMD SD40-2 Locomotive SOO #6613 (ATH-1233)

HO-scale Soo Line EMD SD40-2 locomotive, road number 6613. This fully assembled, ready-to-run model brings the classic Dash-2 freight locomotive to HO layouts with authentic detailing, smooth operation, and dependable performance for everyday railroading.

Prototype-inspired features include see-through cab windows, detailed fuel tanks and handrails, flexible rubber MU hoses and trainline hoses, and LED lighting to enhance realism. The model rides on a heavy die-cast frame for traction and uses all-wheel drive with reliable current pickup. Available in non-sound DCC-ready form (21-pin NEM plug) or as a sound-equipped version with an onboard DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Econami, plus a single speaker and NMRA-compatible functionality in DCC mode. It supports low-speed running and MU lashups, and is designed for HO layouts with minimum radii of 18 inches (22 inches recommended).
