HO FMC 4700 Covered Hopper XTRA 77019 (ATH-1311)

HO FMC 4700 Covered Hopper, XTRA edition is an HO-scale model designed for realistic freight operation on standard HO layouts. The injection-molded body is accurately painted and printed to resemble the prototype, delivering a convincing addition to any layout right out of the box.

Highlights include separately-applied brake gear with a complete set of components, 100-ton trucks with 36-inch solid nickel-silver wheels in RP25 contours, factory-applied roof walk, roof hatch, end details, ladders and wire grab irons, two outlet grate variations, see-through etched metal end platforms and roof walkways, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and weight tuned for smooth running. The model is primed for grime with faded base colors matched to the prototype, providing a natural starting point for weathering and rust effects. It has an 18-inch minimum radius for HO layouts, and when sold in 3-packs, each car carries a unique road number for display variety.
