HO FMC 4700 Covered Hopper RRRX Primed For Grime Model (ATH-1316)

An HO-scale FMC 4700 Covered Hopper primed for grime captures the mid-service look of a freight car ready for weathering. The model features a highly detailed injection-molded body with accurate paint and printing, plus see-through etched metal end platforms and roof walkways. Factory-applied roof walk, roof hatch, end details, ladders and wire grab irons add authentic finishing touches.

Designed for HO-layout operation, it rides on 100-ton trucks with 36-inch solid machined nickel-silver wheels in RP25 contours and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. The car is weighted for smooth performance and has a minimum radius of 18 inches. The Primed for Grime treatment duplicates the look of in-service equipment with faded base colors, providing a perfect starting point for adding grime and rust. It offers two outlet grate variations, and each set includes unique road numbers to diversify a roster.
