HO-scale 50-foot Pullman Standard box car is a detailed model for HO modeling, recreating a mid-1970s Pullman Standard PS design used in per diem service. This replica features a single 10-foot door and authentic end hardware—grab irons, end ladders, and a brake wheel—for a convincing in-service appearance.

It rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and uses body-mounted operating scale knuckle couplers, complemented by a photo-etch cross-over platform for added realism. Weighted for steady running and finished with painted and printed detail, it’s built to run on HO layouts with a minimum 18-inch radius. The model also includes a Primed for Grime finish that duplicates the look of in-service equipment—base colors fade toward the prototype and provide a natural starting point for adding grime and rust—reflecting the classic 50-foot PS boxcar that helped shape mid-century and modern railroading alike.
