An HO-scale Berwick Bathtub Gondola is a faithful replica of a bathtub-style freight car designed for bulk cargo on model railways. It arrives in a Primed For Grime weathering finish that recreates the worn look of in-service equipment, and two variants exist: a grime-weathered Primed For Grime model, and a Primed For Grime version that includes a load. Both versions share the same core design and fit seamlessly into busy, mixed-traffic layouts.

Key details include separately applied grab irons, end ladders, and a brake wheel, plus a weighted body for steady, trouble-free operation. The car uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for reliable coupling and machined metal wheels with RP25 contours that operate smoothly on all popular brands of HO track. A minimum track radius of 18 inches is recommended, with 22 inches ideal for uninterrupted handling. The Primed For Grime finish duplicates the look of in-service equipment, featuring base colors faded to match prototype weather, and is an excellent starting point for adding grime and rust.
