Berwick Bathtub Gondola with Load, Primed for Grime is a detailed model freight car designed to recreate a bulk-cargo gondola used on mid-century railroads. Known as a bathtub gondola for its distinctive interior shape, it was built to haul larger loads by eliminating unloading gates and to maximize capacity. The Primed for Grime finish provides an authentic starting point for weathering, with base colors faded to mimic in-service equipment and a ready-made base for adding grime and rust to match a prototype on a layout.

For smooth operation on common layouts, this model features weighted balance for trouble-free running, body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers, machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and a design that supports reliable performance on a range of track brands. The minimum curve radius is about 9 3/4 inches with 11 inches recommended for best results, making it suitable for a variety of layouts.
