57' FGE Mechanical Reefer with Sound is a detailed, ready-to-run freight car model that faithfully reproduces Fruit Growers Express's 57-foot mechanical refrigerator car. It’s offered in two configurations: a sound-equipped, fully assembled version and a white data-only variant for customization.

Scaled from prototype drawings and field measurements, the model features authentic underframe details such as Keystone cushioning, air brake reservoir, control valve, brake cylinder, and fuel tank. Two exhaust stack styles—straight pipe with a flapper or a T-shaped smokejack—mirror prototype era variations, and it uses body-mounted McHenry operating knuckle couplers with 100-ton roller bearing trucks and 36-inch machined metal wheels that run on Code 55 and 80 rails.
