The N ATH 57' FGE Mechanical Reefer is a highly detailed piece of model railroading equipment that brings a realistic touch to any layout. This model features onboard SoundTraxx sound that adds an authentic auditory experience, enhancing the realism of its operation. Scaled from original prototype manufacturers' drawings and field measurements, it boasts an accurately painted and printed exterior designed for prototypical realism.

Detailed underframe elements such as Keystone cushioning, air brake reservoir, control valve, brake cylinder, and fuel tank provide an impressive sight. It also includes two different exhaust stack types, allowing modelers to choose between a straight pipe with a flapper or a T-shaped smokejack, both reflecting the model's historical accuracy. The reefer is equipped with body-mounted McHenry operating knuckle couplers and rides on 100-ton roller bearing trucks with machined metal wheels that are compatible with Code 55 and 80 rail.

As a fully-assembled and ready-to-run model, this reefer is designed for hassle-free operation with a minimum radius requirement of 9.5 inches, though an 11-inch radius is recommended for optimal performance.
