An HO-scale GP50 locomotive, this fully assembled, ready-to-run model faithfully recreates the EMD GP50 road-switcher in authentic detailing and Legendary Liveries, offering a striking centerpiece for HO layouts.

Built around a heavy die-cast frame for traction and pulling power, it features a five-pole motor with precision flywheels and a multi-link drive for smooth, quiet operation, along with all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for reliable power. The model includes see-through cab windows, factory Celcon handrails and separately-applied grab irons, horn assemblies, and McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. It’s DCC-ready with a 21-pin NEM plug, and rides on nickel-plated, blackened machined wheels with RP25 contours for dependable tracking. LED front and rear headlights, ditch lights, and beacons where applicable illuminate the layout, and the highly detailed injection-molded body is fully painted and decorated. Ready to run straight out of the box, it suits HO layouts on typical curves, with a minimum radius of 18 inches and 22 inches recommended for best performance.
