HO-scale Union Pacific GP50 Locomotive in Ex-Missouri Pacific livery, road number 962, is a detailed, ready-to-run model designed for HO layouts. Part of Athearn’s Legendary Liveries collection, it captures iconic prototype schemes and arrives fully assembled, painted, and ready to hit the rails.

Designed for dependable performance, this GP50 features a heavy die-cast frame for traction, all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for smooth, quiet operation, and a 5-pole motor with precision flywheels and a multi-link drive. It includes see-through cab windows, factory Celcon handrails and separately applied horns and grab irons. DCC-ready with a 21-pin NEM plug, it is equipped with LED headlights, ditch lights and beacons (where applicable), McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and nickel-plated, blackened machined RP25 wheels. Replacement parts are available. This model ships fully assembled and ready to run, with painted and printed decoration and a highly detailed injection-molded body. Minimum radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for best performance.
