This fully assembled, ready-to-run model recreates the four-axle EMD GP50 with authentic detailing and on-board sound, offered in a Legendary Liveries scheme for collectors and operators seeking iconic UP imagery on their layouts.

Inside, a heavy die-cast frame and a 5-pole motor with precision flywheels provide smooth, quiet operation and strong pulling power. The locomotive features all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for reliable power, LED headlights, ditch lights, and beacons where applicable, and is DCC-ready with a 21-pin NEM plug. It includes see-through cab windows, factory Celcon handrails and individually applied wire grab irons, separately mounted horns, and McHenry scale knuckle couplers. Nickel-plated, blackened machined wheels with RP25 contours run on standard track, and the model ships fully painted and decorated. Designed for minimum 18" radii (22" recommended) for optimal performance on a wide range of layouts.
