HO 85' TOFC Flat Car TTX #473650 (ATH-1543)

HO-scale 85-foot Trailer-On-Flat-Car (TOFC) flat car with TTX markings, designed to reproduce mid-century intermodal service. Fully assembled and ready for layout, it is built to haul two 40-foot trailers on a single car, mirroring the prototype's operation.

It features a metal underframe for correct rail height and optimum performance, factory-installed wire grab irons, detailed trailer hitches, machined RP25 profile 33-inch metal wheels, swing-mount coupler boxes, and McHenry scale knuckle spring couplers for reliable, prototypical coupling. It runs on layout curves with a minimum radius of 22 inches. The 85-foot TOFC flatcar was introduced in the 1960s to carry two trailers, and this model captures that intermodal era in faithful miniature form.
