An N-scale TankTrain Intermediate set of GATX white-and-black tank cars designed to add realistic liquid-cargo traffic to an N-scale railroad. The fleet includes two GATX classes—282-series and 486-series—mirroring the real-world mix and arriving fully assembled and ready to run.

Every model features finely detailed walkways, full underbody plumbing and rigging, and separate wireform grab irons with etched coupler platforms. The cars carry authentic end details and plaques for each series, plus soft vinyl transfer hoses that bend with curves. Body-mounted scale knuckle couplers pair with complete underframe detail—air brake reservoir, control valve, brake cylinder, and plumbing—while 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours ensure smooth operation on most track. A realistic minimum radius of 9 3/4 inches and a recommended radius of 11 inches make them suited for a wide range of layouts, with the 282-series dating from 1977 to present and the 486-series from 1982 to present.
