This N-scale TankTrain Intermediate GATX White tank car is a ready-to-run model designed for authentic GATX freight operations on an N-scale layout. It reproduces two GATX classes—the 282-series and the 486-series—giving hobbyists a versatile, prototypical tank car to add to a modern yard or mainline.

Key features include finely detailed walkways, full underbody plumbing and rigging, and 100-ton roller-bearing trucks with rotating bearing caps. It also includes separate wireform grab irons and etched coupler platforms, correct walkways, manways, and load plaques per series, plus transfer plumbing and soft vinyl hoses that bend realistically through curves. The model comes fully assembled with a highly detailed injection-molded body, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and complete underframe detail.
