HO 50' Evans DD Plug Box Car USLX #13074 (ATH-1854)

HO scale 50-foot Evans double-door plug box car in USLX service, a ready-to-run model designed to represent a classic enclosed freight car used for general cargo. This Evans box car features double eight-foot plug doors, separately applied grab irons, stirrup steps, end ladders, a brake wheel and stand, and detailed underbody work. It rides on 33-inch solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for smooth, reliable coupling on most HO track. The car is fully assembled, weighted for stable handling, and finished with razor-sharp painting and printing for a realistic, period-accurate look.

Designed for ready operation on HO layouts, this box car is ideal for portraying mid-century freight service. It’s built to run smoothly on standard tracks, with a minimum curve radius of 18 inches to accommodate smaller layouts.
