HO 52' Mill Gondola, CSXT #481720/481782/481974 Plastic Model (ATH-1861)

This HO scale 52-foot CSXT Mill Gondola is a ready-to-run plastic model that reproduces an open-top freight car used for bulky loads such as coil steel or scrap metal, typically moved by crane.

Updated with refined end-sheet molded-on details and improved rivet and bolt detailing, the model also features corrected wire grab-iron placements, new top-chord details, and jack reinforcement pad details along with coupler cut-lever mounting details. It includes separately applied wire grab irons, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and 33-inch solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on most HO track. Weighted for stable handling and fully assembled with razor-sharp painting and printing, it’s offered in multi-pack configurations with unique road numbers. The minimum turning radius is 18 inches, making it compatible with common HO layouts.
