This HO-scale Pullman Standard 50-foot boxcar in CNW livery is designed to add authentic mid-century freight power to HO layouts. The model features a single 10-foot Pullman Standard door, plus separately applied grab irons, end ladders, and a brake wheel, along with a photo-etch cross-over platform and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. Machined metal wheels with RP25 contours roll smoothly, and the car is weighted for steady operation. The injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and the design accommodates typical HO track geometry with an 18-inch minimum radius.

Prototype background and usage: Reflecting the mid-1970s era when per diem boxcar traffic surged, Pullman Standard produced many 50-foot outside-post cars with varied door styles to meet customer needs.
