HO scale Pullman Standard 50-foot box car in SLSF livery, a detailed model designed to add authentic 1970s-era freight equipment to HO layouts.

Features include a single 10-foot Pullman Standard door, separately applied grab irons, end ladders, and a brake wheel, plus a photo-etch cross-over platform and machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for realistic rolling action. The model uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and a highly detailed injection-molded body with painted and printed decoration, and it’s weighted for reliable, smooth running with a minimum radius of 18 inches. Prototype notes explain that in the mid-1970s the per diem box car boom spurred the creation of bright, varied PS cars; the 50-foot exterior-post design served as the foundation for these new cars, and the resulting look remains recognizable on today’s layouts.
