HO 65' Mill Gondola LV #34153 (ATH-1951)

HO-scale 65-foot Mill Gondola is a faithful model designed to carry long loads on a model railroad. Originally built by General American in the early 1940s, this gondola was designed for shipments requiring extra length and versatile loading options. The riveted body and hinged end panels allow long beams and other oversized freight to extend beyond the car length, with flat cars at both ends needed to clear the overhang.

Decorated and ready to run out of the box, the model features working drop ends that fold down for realistic operation, separately applied wire grab irons, interior detailing, and a weighted chassis for smooth handling. It rides on machined metal wheels with RP-25 profiles for reliable operation on most track brands, and uses body-mounted scale-knuckle couplers for authentic coupling. The highly detailed injection-molded body and a minimum 18-inch radius complete the package for a convincing addition to any steel-mill or yard scene.
