HO 52' Mill Gondola DH #15005 (ATH-1993)

HO Scale 52' Mill Gondola Car is an open-top freight model designed for HO scale layouts. It recreates a workaday gondola used for hauling bulky loads such as coil steel or scrap metal, loads typically moved by crane on industrial yards. The model arrives fully assembled and ready to run, with razor-sharp painting and printing that capture the rugged look of the prototype.

Detail enhancements include refined end-sheet molded-on details, improved rivet and bolt detailing, and corrected wire grab irons, along with new top-chord details, jack reinforcement pad details, and updated coupler cut-lever mounts. The car features separately applied wire grab irons, body-mounted operating scale knuckle couplers, and 33-inch solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours that run on most HO track brands. It is weighted for stable operation and designed for a minimum 18-inch radius, with multi-packs offered that feature unique road numbers for fleet variety on a layout.
