HO Scale 52-Foot Mill Gondola Car. This HO-model recreates the classic open-top gondola used to haul bulky loads such as coil steel or scrap metal around mills and industrial yards. It comes fully assembled and ready to run on HO layouts, riding on 33-inch nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on most brands of track and a minimum radius of 18 inches.

Built for realism, the car features refined end-sheet molded details, improved rivet and bolt detailing, and correctly placed wire grab irons, plus new top-chord details, jack reinforcement pads, and coupler cut-lever mounting. It includes separately applied wire grab irons, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and razor-sharp painting and printing. Multi-packs include unique road numbers to flesh out a believable fleet. Weighted for steady on-layout performance, this gondola is ideal for open-top loads such as coil steel or scrap metal loaded by crane.
