HO-scale 50-foot Youngstown plug-door boxcar, a faithful DRGW replica of insulated freight cars from the 1950s. The plug doors slide closed to form a tight seal, helping protect cargo from temperature changes during transit and making the car ideal for perishables and other temperature-sensitive shipments.

On the rails it features a highly detailed injection-molded body, separately-applied brake wheel and ladders, 70-ton roller-bearing trucks, and 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for realistic rolling. Body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers enable prototypical coupling, and the model is weighted for smooth performance on HO layouts with a minimum radius of 18 inches. Authentic DRGW paint schemes are printed and applied to enhance realism and fidelity on interchange scenes.
