HO RS-3 Locomotive MP #965 (ATH-2147)

This HO-scale RS-3 diesel-electric locomotive model faithfully reproduces the 1,600-horsepower ALCO RS-3 and is designed to bring authentic power and mid-century styling to a model railroad layout.

Fully assembled and ready to run, it rides on a heavy die-cast frame with all-wheel drive and RP25 wheels for solid traction. LED lighting, see-through etched radiator fans and cab windows, and McHenry scale knuckle couplers add realism, while a DCC-ready Quick Plug 21-pin NEM connector supports easy digital installation. Sound-equipped versions feature Econami sound with a cube speaker for DC or DCC operation, and minimum radius is 18 inches (22 inches is recommended) for smooth performance on a wide range of layouts.
