HO-scale RS-3 locomotive with DCC and sound is a ready-to-run model designed for HO layouts. It faithfully recreates the 1,600-horsepower RS-3 prototype and includes DCC with SoundTraxx Econami sound and a cube speaker, plus Quick Plug plug-and-play technology via a 21-pin NEM connector for easy setup.

Built for performance and realism, this model features a heavy die-cast frame for traction, all-wheel drive and electrical pickup, fine-scale handrails, metal grab irons, etched radiator fan and cab windows, and McHenry operating scale knuckles. LED lighting, RP25-contoured wheels, and authentic prototype paint schemes help it blend with other HO equipment. It is designed for smooth operation on HO layouts with a minimum radius of 18 inches and a recommended radius of 22 inches, and arrives fully assembled and ready to run.
