An N scale 50-foot FMC combo-door box car, this detailed model recreates a mid-1970s per diem freight car built by FMC (Food Machinery Corporation). These cars were a staple of the era, often featuring varied door configurations and the distinctive 50-foot outside-post design that can still be seen on today’s railroading landscape.

The model features a scale-profile brake wheel, roller-bearing and screw-mounted trucks, and McHenry knuckle couplers, with a weighted body for smooth operation. Machined metal wheels run on Code 55 and 80 rails, and the injection-molded body is accurately painted and printed.
