Prototypical bay-window caboose details include Barber-Bettendorf swing-motion caboose trucks, finely rendered end handrails and ladders, clear windows, and separately applied smoke jack and brake wheel. The highly detailed injection-molded body is painted and printed for realistic decoration, and it rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for reliable operation on most popular track. Body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and a weighted chassis contribute to smooth, trouble-free performance, while a minimum radius of 18 inches keeps it compatible with common layouts.
