HO-scale Bay Window Concession Caboose—Coffee Caboose from Athearn recreates a caboose repurposed as a small cafe on the railroad. This model captures the nostalgic idea of cabooses becoming eateries, information centers, or tourist offices and adds that charm to a layout with a bay-window design, decorated menu boards, an awning, and lit exterior lights. The platform and reader board are separate pieces that can be positioned around scenery, and lighting elements can be powered with an accessory power supply and connected via 2-pin JST connectors or wired to operate on 3VDC.

The model features newly tooled details and a highly detailed injection-molded body, including clear windows, painted and printed decoration, and fine end handrails and ladders. It offers lit dual-sided reader board signage, lit barn- or bell-style exterior lights, a decorated awning, and an industrial kitchen exhaust vent. Machined metal wheels ride on a Barber Swing Motion caboose truck, while stairs and a service platform enable access through the caboose side windows.
