HO-scale BethGon Coalporter with coal load is a detailed model freight car designed to haul coal on HO layouts. Based on Bethlehem Steel's Johnstown American BethGon design, it features an all-aluminum body and a trough-style bottom that increases carrying capacity, with a lower center of gravity to help it track more reliably in long coal trains.

It captures the look and function of the prototype with separate wireform grab irons and etched metal coupler platforms, a removable coal load, and 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours. The car is weighted for steady operation and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, with a highly detailed injection-molded body painted for realism. A minimum 18-inch radius is recommended for smooth running, and one end includes a rotary coupler to allow passage through a rotary unloader without uncoupling.
