Introducing the N-scale BethGon Coalporter with Coal Load—a detailed model of a Bethlehem Steel coal car designed for realistic coal-hauling on an N-scale layout. Built with an all-aluminum body and a trough-style bottom, it offers increased carrying capacity, while the bathtub-inspired design lowers the center of gravity for steadier tracking in solid unit trains. One end features a rotary coupler to allow a train to pass through a rotary unloader without uncoupling.

The model emphasizes authentic detailing and performance: a separately applied brake wheel, multiple road numbers, and a removable coal load enhance realism; it rolls on 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and can run on Code 40, 55, and 80 rails. Screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks add weight for stability, and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers pair with a highly detailed injection-molded body finished in painted decoration. Minimum radius is 9 3/4 inches.
