This N-scale BethGon Coalporter with Coal Load is a detailed model of Bethlehem Steel's coal car, designed to mirror its real-world prototype on an N-scale layout. Built with an all-aluminum body and a distinctive trough-style bottom, it offers increased carrying capacity and a lower center of gravity for steadier tracking. The coal load is removable for realistic loading and unloading, and one end features a rotary coupler to allow feeding through a rotary unloader without uncoupling.

On the rails, the model rides on 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and uses screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks for a smooth, realistic roll. It features body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers, is weighted for dependable performance, and is painted and printed for lifelike decoration. The car is compatible with Code 40, 55, and 80 rail and has a minimum radius of 9 3/4 inches. It also offers multiple road numbers for roster variety.
