ATHEARN PS-4427 Covered Hopper is a faithful N-scale reproduction of the classic PS-4427 covered hopper, designed to add realistic freight-car traffic to any model railroad layout. It features body-mounted McHenry knuckle spring couplers for reliable operation, screw-mounted trucks for accurate tracking, and roller bearing trucks. The car rides on 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and operates on Code 55 and 80 rail.
