Athearn PS 4427 Covered Hopper IMCX 11327 is a ready-to-run model of a classic bulk-carrier hopper car, designed to bring authentic hopper service to a model railroad layout with precise paint and lettering.

It features body-mounted McHenry knuckle spring couplers, screw-mounted trucks for accurate tracking, and roller bearing trucks, all supported by 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours. The car is weighted for optimum performance and operates on both Code 55 and Code 80 rail.
