HO ATH 30K Ethanol Tank Car DODX 14401 (ATH-2403)

An HO-scale 30,000-gallon Ethanol Tank Car, designed to haul ethanol on HO layouts, provides a realistic centerpiece for freight trains and dioramas.

Detail highlights include a separately applied walkway platform, manway, outlet, ladders, brake rigging, safety rail supports, tank saddles and printed placards. Photo-etched walkways and end platforms, plus wire safety rails and end handrails, add depth and realism. It rides on 100-ton roller bearing trucks and 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and is weighted for stable, smooth operation. Body-mounted McHenry operating scale upper- and lower-shelf knuckle couplers help keep it aligned with other cars. The injection-molded body is highly detailed and painted and printed for realistic decoration. The minimum curve radius is 18 inches, making it suitable for most HO layouts.
