HO 30K Ethanol Tank Car ACFX Model (ATH-2410)

This HO-scale 30,000-gallon ethanol tank car from Athearn is a detailed, ready-to-run model designed for realistic operation on HO layouts. Finished in ACFX livery, it captures the look of a dedicated ethanol transporter and is well suited for both display scenes and busy freight trains.

The car features separately applied walkway platforms, manways, outlets, ladders, brake rigging details, safety rail supports, tank saddles, and printed placards, along with photo-etched walkways and end platforms and wire safety rails and end handrails. It rides on 100-ton roller bearing trucks and 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for authentic rolling performance. Weighted for optimum stability, it uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and a highly detailed injection-molded body that is painted and printed for realistic decoration. A minimum radius of 18 inches is recommended for smooth operation on standard HO layouts.
