The N ATH 40' Pfaudler Wood Milk Car is a detailed model that replicates the design of bulk milk carriers manufactured in the 1920s by the Pfaudler Company and the General American Car Company. These unique cars were built around insulated tanks and featured a brine cooling system to maintain milk at a consistent temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Often painted in Pullman green, they complemented the era's passenger cars and were used extensively for milk transportation up until the 1950s.
