HO ATH FMC 4700 Covered Hopper 3-Pack (ATH-2481)

Three HO-scale FMC 4700 covered hopper cars form a detailed three-pack that brings authentic in-service freight operations to an HO model railroad. Each car features accurate paint and printing on a highly detailed injection-molded body, with factory-applied roof walk, roof hatch, end details, ladders and wire grab irons, and separately applied brake gear for a convincing, working look.

On the rails, the trio rides on 100-ton trucks with 36" solid machined nickel-silver wheels and RP25 contours (compatible with most HO track). Each car uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and is weighted for smooth handling. All three cars carry unique road numbers, with a minimum radius of 18 inches for reliable operation on common layouts. The set also includes two outlet grate variations and see-through etched end platforms and roof walkways. Primed for grime, the finish is designed to mimic faded base colors and provides an excellent starting point for weathering to match the prototype.
