HO-scale FMC 4700 Covered Hopper, Primed for Grime in CNW #178710, is a highly detailed model designed to reproduce a real in-service freight car. The injection-molded body is accurately painted and printed, with factory-applied roof walk, roof hatch, end details, ladders and wire grab irons to capture the look of a working hopper.

Designed for HO layouts, it rides on 100-ton trucks with 36-inch solid machined nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on most brands of track. It features body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and is weighted for steady performance. The Primed for Grime finish mirrors the in-service look with faded base colors, making it a ready starting point for adding grime and rust. Extras include two outlet grate variations, see-through etched metal end platforms and roof walkways, and a minimum radius of 18 inches. In three-packs, each car carries a unique road number.
