HO FMC 4700 Covered Hopper, Primed for Grime — KYLE Model is a detailed HO-scale freight car designed to resemble a 4700-series covered hopper in service, with a grime-ready base finish that provides a realistic starting point for weathering on HO layouts.

It delivers authentic detail including separately applied brake gear, 100-ton trucks with 36-inch nickel-silver wheels (RP25 contours), factory-applied roof walk and hatch, end details, ladders and wire grab irons, all on a precisely painted injection-molded body. The model offers two outlet grate variations, see-through etched end platforms and roof walkways, and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for reliable operation. Weighted for smooth running on common HO track with a minimum radius of 18 inches, it’s available in three-pack sets with unique road numbers. The Primed for Grime finish replicates the look of in-service equipment, with faded base colors that provide a natural starting point for adding grime and rust.
